Happy to share another beautiful wedding we did last year in Santa Teresa. It was featured recently on one of my favorite magazine's blogs. It is always so rewarding to work with incredible clients like Jennifer and Cristian. Then to top it, covering the wedding was the fabulous Michael Segal who is simply as lovely as his photos. To then have it featured on Grace Ormonde. Well all I can say is moments like these make me think I may be the luckiest girl in the world.
A huge thank you to Michael for taking what was a very simple and elegant event, but showing what good energy, true love and fabulous people do to a wedding, they make it amazing. This Monday, I started off my week with the amazing news that a wedding we had designed and planned was the day's opening feature on Style Me Pretty. For those who may not know what Style Me Pretty is, well it is the "Mecca" of all wedding blogs. A hub of highlighted events, design ideas, DIY projects for brides and grooms and people like us, who work in the wedding industry. It features the creme de la creme of the wedding world and above all a whole lot of eye candy- well if you're wedding-obsessed that is!
We are also proud members of Style Me Pretty's "Little Black Book" A book that is by invitation only and features only the best of wedding services available in a given state, country etc...
The wedding featured could not have been a more deserving one. Our Bride Alex and I were both equally obsessed with nailng a perfect design for her big day. We played with many palates, flowers and many ideas, details, decor and fashion. The inspiration that created the final look came from the great bridemaids dresses from BCBG and the fabulous house Casa Fantastica, where wedding took place. We began bouncing ideas back and forth till literally weeks before the wedding we finalized what you will see here. I loved every minute of planning with Alex; each phone call, her lovely energy, and most of all, her great taste!
Major kudos needs to be given to Karen Ogden, my Mid-Pacific manager who was the on-site planner for this event and took a vision that Alex and I had created and perfected it. I also have to say that we have seen many amazing photos by Julie Comfort of Comfort Studios, but these are my favorites by far. Her talent grows with each event and is becoming a force to be reckoned with.

We were so thrilled when we were asked to be featured on one of the wedding industries hottest blogs. The Wedding Chicks. Not only did they feature the beautiful wedding of Alex and Akil, but as well they gave the event a 3 part spread and so much delicious eye candy. I only aspire to one day be able to blog and share as much beauty as they do when it comes to Weddings. Of course it did not hurt that this wedding was shot by one of the top 10 wedding photographers in the world, Jose Villa. The best news of all we have been invited to be on their preferred vendors list, a huge honor and we look forward to posting many more fabulous Costa Rican weddings with them. Make sure to visit all three posts, each of them is spectacular.
I love when my brides send me their invites in the mail. This one was like opening a gift on Christmas morning. My lovely Bride Alex Carter and her groom to be, the incredibly talented wedding photographer, Akil Bennett have been a blast to plan with. The invite really reflects all we are hoping the wedding will be... Original, fun and of course beautiful. I am so excited for the event as the planner, but even if I were a guest, the invite definitely sets the tone. Wedding is in 2 weeks and as well will be shot by the famous Jose Villa..... get out those mini maraca's and let the festivities begin!

We are proud once again to showcase our work in yet another amazing publication. This publication however is truly unique. IT is the only truly "Green" concept wedding magazine in existence. It is so green in concept that it is an on line magazine, no trees were killed in the making of this fabulous eye candy. We were honored and thrilled to work with the oh so talented Katie Martin editor in chief and master mind of Eco Beautiful Weddings.
